Power Tube and Valve Removal
These instructions presume that you have already performed
Marker Disassembly instructions. Refer to Figure 12.
1. Loosen the small nut shown in Figure 14.
2. Lift the Power Tube (28) and Gas Line (34) from the
Right Receiver half.
3. Pull the Gas Line out of the bottom of the Power Tube.
4. To remove the Valve (30) from the Power Tube,
carefully tap the large diameter of the Power Tube on
the workbench until the Valve slides out from the Power
Tube.
5. Inspect the Gas Line and both external O-Rings. If any O-Ring is damaged, your marker
will not function correctly. Clean and use Tippmann Certied Marker Oil to lubricate the
O-Rings. Replace any damaged O-Ring with a new one.
6. While the Power Tube is out of the marker, inspect the O-Ring (15) in the Right Receiver
half. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary.
7. Inspect the remaining parts for damage and replace if
necessary.
Reinstalling the Valve into the Power Tube
1. Apply Tippmann Certied Marker Oil to the Valve. Insert
the Valve into the Power Tube.
2. Align the Gas Line holes of both parts.
3. Position the Power Tube/Valve assembly into the Right
Receiver half with the Gas Line holes downward.
4. Slowly push the Gas Line tting into the Power Tube.
