Congratulations on purchasing a pager watch by BeepwearTM, a Timex and Motorola product. Beepwear TM pager watches combine numeric and word paging with all the features and convenience of a wristwatch.

GETTING STARTED 1 Install the Battery Step 1: Peel Off Battery Protector The battery has a protective covering and will not work unless the covering is removed. Simply peel off the covering using the tab and let the battery breathe for 1-2 minutes before putting it into the watch. Step 2: Remove Battery Lid To remove the battery lid, insert a coin into the battery hatch at the back of the watch. Turn the lid to the right so that the arrow lines up with the ”open“arrow. Now remove the lid.
Step 4: Replace Battery Lid Replace the battery lid so that the arrow lines up with the ”open“arrow. Turn the arrow counterclockwise to ”close“. Battery Type: Size 675 (Standard hearing aid battery, readily available where batteries are sold.) 2 Replace battery lid batteries recommended for best performance. Set the Time On Your Watch... Review pages 3-6 to become familiar with the watch features and functions. See pages 7 and 8 for setting the time on your watch.
WATCH BUTTONS The symbols below are used to identify the five watch buttons. Press the INDIGLO® night light button to illuminate the watch face. Press the READ button (top right) to move forward. The MODE button presents the main operations of the watch. 3 Press the FUNCTION button to show the options within each mode. Press the button (bottom right) to move backward.
WATCH MODES Time of day is the main setting shown on the watch. Press and release the mode button to advance through the modes.
HOW TO READ THE WATCH In time of day mode, your watch looks like this: Watch display symbols (see below) New Page (flashing alert in silent mode) A.M. or P.M.
When you read a page, your watch looks like this: Page message number Indicates message will continue Scrolling message At the end of a message, time and day stamp appears: Time and day stamp Indicates beginning of message has passed (can scroll to left to view message) Pager on, silent Pager off End of message Page (displayed) is locked One or more alarms armed Hourly chime active 6
WATCH SETTINGS The following unctions are available from the time of day mode. Press To... Then press...

WHEN A PAGE IS RECEIVED When a page is received, the ”new page received“ message will be displayed and a tone will sound (light flashes in silent mode). Press any button To... Then press... turn off alert read the page (message will begin to scroll) to stop scrolling Press: to scroll forward to scroll backward (after scroll ends) to re-read message read next page(s)* again –Return to time of day mode 9 *Hint: If you press and hold , you can quickly scan through all pages.

PAGER FUNCTIONS From the time of day mode, press mode button once to go to pager mode. The word pager appears followed by a pager status message screen. (If you want to read the messages now, see pages 9 and 10 for instructions). Press To... Then press... SETTING THE WATCH ALARMS From the time of day mode, press ode button twice to go to alarm mode. There are 10 alarms/reminders available. They can be set as daily, monthly or yearly alarms. Press To... Then press...

SETTING THE WATCH ALARMS (CONT.) OPTIONS FOR MONTH/DAY ALARMS: (see page 14 in “edit selected alarm” option) ”MM/DD“ – DAILY ALARM (Leave setting as MMDD to sound the alarm daily.) This alarm can be used as a daily wake-up alarm, a daily task or a daily meeting reminder. ”MM/05“ – MONTHLY ALARM (Leave month MM, change day to 05.) This alarm will sound on the 5th day of each month at the set time. It can be used as a monthly meeting reminder or a bill paying reminder.
USING THE STOPWATCH From the time of day mode, press ode button three times to go to stopwatch mode. (100 hour stopwatch with 1 second resolution) Press To... Then press... Time of day go to stopwatch mode 3 times start the stopwatch (the stopwatch symbol will appear) stop the stopwatch to continue timing on the stopwatch to reset the stopwatch –Return to time of day mode Hint: You can leave the stopwatch mode and the stopwatch will continue running.
ADDITIONAL WATCH FEATURES INDIGLO NIGHT LIGHT WITH NIGHT MODE® OPTION Once activated, any button pushed will cause the INDIGLO® night light to stay on for 3 seconds. The NIGHT MODE® feature is activated by pressing and holding the INDIGLO® button for 3 seconds. The NIGHT MODE® feature will stay activated for 7 hours or until you deactivate it by pressing and holding the INDIGLO ® button again for 3 seconds.
TIME OF DAY MODE RESET The watch will automatically return to Time of day mode after 2 minutes. BATTERY ( 675 battery cell recommended.) The main watch battery is a size 675 (common zinc-air hearing aid battery). Expected battery life is approximately 3 months and will vary depending on the watch and pager usage. ”Lo Battery“ will appear on the watch screen every 2 seconds to indicate the battery is running low. At this time you should install a new battery following the procedure illustrated on page 1.
ADDITIONAL PAGER FEATURES NEW PAGE REMINDERS • If a new page was not read when first received, then, as a reminder, the watch will chirp every 2 minutes for 30 minutes. (In silent mode, the light will flash every 2 minutes for 30 minutes.) AUTO ON/OFF • This function allows your pager to automatically turn on and off each day. This saves battery power. You can select the default setting of 6 AM on and 10 PM off, or set any auto on/off time you choose (see page 12 to activate).
ERRORED DATA INDICATOR ( ) • This symbol is displayed in a page message when potentially errored data has been received. Pause the page to view possible errored characters. MISSING CHARACTER INDICATORS • If part of a message has not been received, <...> is displayed. PAGER FULL • This message will be displayed on the main screen when the pager is full. New pages will be received, which will delete the oldest, unlocked, read page.
ADDITIONAL PAGER FEATURES (CONT.) OUT OF RANGE ( ) • With this option enabled by the service provider, is displayed whenever you are out of range of the pager transmitter. LIGHTWEIGHT DURABLE DESIGN • For extended life, your pager watch has been designed to withstand exposure to moisture. The pager will not work in water and water exposure is not recommended. If you do immerse the pager watch, the design will help protect the watch.
OFF-THE-WRIST ACCESSORIES This pager watch can also be worn off-the-wrist as a pager by removing the watch bands and placing the unit in the off-the-wrist accessory. 2 While holding the quick release toggle to the right, gently pull the wristband away from the pager watch. Repeat the process for the other wristband. 1 On the back of the watch, locate the quick release toggle on the wristband. Slide the toggle to the right to release the band pin.
