Before use always test the RCD Adaptor. To test 1 RESET - plug the Adaptor into a 13 amp socket and switch the socket on. Press the green RESET button. The indicator flag window should turn from BLACK to RED (RESET condition). 2 2 TEST - now press the blue TEST button. The indicator flag window should turn from RED to BLACK. This shows that the Adaptor has cut out (TRIPPED). 3 RESET - press the RESET button again, the indicator flag window should again turn from BLACK to RED.
Using the Adaptor After testing the Adaptor, (if no problems occurred) the unit is ready for use. With the Adaptor still plugged into a live socket simply plug the electrical appliance into the Adaptor and switch the Appliance ON. If the Adaptor trips 3 If the Adaptor trips, switch off the electrical appliance. By pressing the RESET button the indicator flag window should turn from BLACK to RED. Switch the appliance back on. If the breaker trips again DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE - IT MAY BE FAULTY.

Use of an RCD Adaptor is not a substitute for basic electrical safety precautions. • ALWAYS test the Adaptor before use. • Always plug the Adaptor directly into the mains socket, even if you are using an extension lead (to ensure the lead is also protected). 4 • To clean use a dry cloth only, Do NOT use any liquid cleaners. • The Adaptor should NOT be used when it can come into contact with liquids or excessive atmospheric pollution.
