ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions:
•Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and
•Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycause
undesirableoperation.
AnychangesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbyTimecodeSystemscouldvoidtheuser’s
authoritytooperatetheequipment.
FCCRFRadiationExposureStatement:
ThisequipmentcomplieswithFCCradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanuncontrolled
environment.EndusersmustfollowthespecificoperatinginstructionsforsatisfyingRFexposure
compliance.ThistransmittermeetsbothportableandmobilelimitsasdemonstratedintheRF
ExposureAnalysisandSARtestreport.Thistransmittermustnotbeco‐locatedoroperatingin
conjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitterexceptinaccordancewithFCCmulti‐transmitter
productprocedures.OEMResponsibilitiestocomplywithFCCRegulations:Thetransmittermodule
mustnotbeco‐locatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitterexceptin
accordancewithFCCmulti‐transmitterproductprocedures.Eachnewhostwillrequirereassessment
ofradiatedspuriousemissionsandapermissivechangetothecertification.ForAirGlu™modulethe
minimumseparationdistancetohumanbodyis6mm.Iftheseparationdistancefromtheantenna
tohumanbodyis6mmormore,SARtestingisnotneeded.Incasetheseparationdistanceto
humanbodyislessthan6mm,thenOEMintegratorisresponsibletotesttheSARwiththeend
productassembly.OEMintegratorisresponsiblefortestingtheirend‐productforanyadditional
compliancerequirementsrequiredwiththismoduleinstalled(forexample,digitaldeviceemissions,
PCperipheralrequirements,etc.).ImportantNote:Intheeventthatthisconditioncannotbemet
(forcertainconfigurationsorco‐locationwithanothertransmitter),thentheFCCauthorizationisno
longerconsideredvalidandtheFCCIDcannotbeusedonthefinalproduct.Inthesecircumstances,
theOEMintegratorwillberesponsibleforre‐evaluatingtheendproduct(includingthetransmitter)
andobtainingaseparateFCCauthorization.
EndProductLabeling
TheAirGlu™modulenotlabeledwithitsownFCCIDduetoitsphysicalsize.IftheFCCIDisnot
visiblewhenthemoduleisinstalledinsideanotherdevice,thentheoutsideofthedeviceintowhich
themoduleisinstalledmustalsodisplayalabelreferringtotheenclosedmodule.Inthatcase,the
finalendproductmustbelabeledinavisibleareawiththefollowing:
"ContainsTransmitterModuleFCCID:AYV‐AGLU01"
Or
"ContainsFCCID:AYV‐AGLU01"
TheOEMintegratormustnotprovideinformationtotheenduserregardinghowtoinstallor
removethisRFmoduleorchangeRFrelatedparametersintheusermanualoftheendproduct.






