Brand Fire Starters contain petroleum 
distillates.
•  Keep out of reach of children and pets.
•  Pellets are not intended for animal or human 
consumption.
•  If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting, and 
contact poison control, a physician or local 
emergency services.
•  DO NOT cover while burning with anything 
other than a mesh screen or flame arrestor. 
•  Covering flaming pellets may result in flare up 
when cover is removed. 
•  Not intended for grills, smokers, pellet burners, 
stoves, ventless fireplaces, or any other 
burning system.
•  Never leave a fire or hot coals unattended.
•  Store away from flame or direct heat source, 
or anything that may puncture the bag. Store 
in a cool, dry area and well-ventilated area.
•  DO NOT use product while under the influence 
of drugs or alcohol.
•  Keep clothing, hair, and face away from flames.
•  DO NOT light fire starters in hand.
•  Composite fire starter suitable for use in 
Factory-Built Fireplaces, Solid Fuel Fired 
Space Heaters, Fireplace Inserts and Masonry 
Fireplaces only. 
•  If your fireplace is functioning properly, 
emissions of this product should be vented 
outdoors. A properly installed and maintained 
fireplace and chimney will dramatically reduce 
the likelihood of combustion byproducts 
entering your home. An inadequate air 
supply or a downdraft could cause a fireplace 
malfunction. If you suspect that your unit is not 
functioning properly, a professional contractor 
should be consulted.
•  Clean chimney regularly.
•  Always open damper before starting a fire; 
ensure adequate air supply at all times.
•  Always use a fireplace screen.
•  Never leave children unattended near fire.
•  Never add any volatiles (e.g. liquid fire starter, 
aerosol cans, etc.) to any fire.
•  DO NOT poke fire starter as burning particles 
may stick to the poker.
•  If necessary, douse flames with baking soda, 
sand, water, or a fire extinguisher.
