THULE CAR RACK SYSTEMS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY [EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2006]

THULE will warranty all THULE brand ear rack systems and
i ts accessories manufactured by THULE during the time
that an original retail purchaser own s the product. This
warranty terminates if a purchaser transfers the product to
any ot her person.
Subject to the limitati ons and exclusions de sc ribed in
this warranty, THULE will remedy defects in material s o r
workmanship by repairing or replacing, at its option, a
defective product without charge for parts or labor. In
addition, THULE may elect, at its o ption , n ot to repair or
replace a defective product but rather issue to a purchaser
a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product
or a credit to be used toward the purchase of a new THULE
load carrier system.
No warranty is given for defects caused by normal wear
and tear, cosmetic ru st, scratches, accidents, unlawful
vehicle opa ration, or mo dification of, or any types of repair
of, a load carrier system othar than those authorized by
THULE.
No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions
beyond THULE's control including , but not limited to, mis-
use, overloading , o r failure to assemble, mo unt or use the
product in accordance with THULE's written instructions or
guidelines included with the product or made available to
the purchaser.
No warranty is given for THULE products purchased o ut·
side of the United States, Canada and Mexico.
In the event that a product is defective, the purchaser
should contact the THULE dealer from wh om the product
wa s purchased or an Auth o rized Thule Service Center. If
the dealer or Auth o rized Thule Service Center is n ot able
to correct the de feet, the purchaser should contact THULE
in writing or by phone us ing the contact information li sted
at the bottom of this page.
In the event that a product need s to be returned to THULE,
a THULE
technician at the address o r telephone number
listed bel ow will provide the purchaser with the appropri·
ate mailing address and any additional instructi ons. Please
n
ote that the purchaser will be respons ible for the cost of
mailing the product to THULE and that proof of purchase
in the form of an o riginal purchase inv o ice or receipt and a
detailed description of the defect must be included in the
mailing.

Ia marca THULE y sus accesorios tabricados por THULE
mientras
el comprador original este en posesi6n del
producto. Est a garantia tinaliza si un comprador transtiere
el producto a cua/quier otra persona.
Segun
las limitaciones y exclusiones que se describen en
esta garantia, THULE remediar;i cua/quier detecto en los
materiales o Ia mano de obra reparando o reemplazando,
a discreci6n propia, cua/quier
producto detectuoso sin
cobrarfe a/ propietario por las piezas o Ia mano de obra.
Ademas , THULE puede optar, a discreci6n propia , a no
reparar o reemplazar un producto detectuoso yen su Iugar
devo/ver a/ comprador el dinero del precio que pag6 por
el producto o dotarfe un credito que puede usarse para
comprar un nuevo sistema portacargas THULE.
Nose otorga garantia alguna por los detectos causados
pore/ uso y desgaste normales, Ia corrosi6n cosmetica,
las ralladuras, los accidentes o Ia conducci6n if ega/ del
vehicu/o, o cua/quier moditicaci6n o reparaci6n del
sistema portacargas sin inciuir aquellas moditicaciones o
reparaciones autorizadas por THULE.
Nose otorga garantia alguna por los detectos que resulten
de condiciones mas alia del control de THULE que inc/uyen,
pero nose limitan a, el uso indebido , Ia sobrecarga, Ia
instalaci6n,
montaje o usos inco"ectos del producto
segun las instrucciones o las directrices escritas de THULE
adjuntas con el producto o que esten a disposici6n del
comprador.
Nose otorga garantia alguna por los productos Thule que
se compren tuera de los Estados Unidos, Canada o Mexico.
En caso
que el producto presente detectos, el comprador
debera comunicarse con el vendedor THULE que se /o
vendi6 , o con un Centro Autorizado de Servicio Thule. En
caso
que e/ vendedor o Centro Autorizado de Servicio
Thule
no puedan so/ucionar el detecto , el comprador
debera comunicarse por co"eo o teletono con el servicio
de informacion de THULE cuyos datos aparecen a pie de
pagina.
En
el caso de que el producto deba devol verse a THULE,
un tecnico de THULE en Ia direcci6n o nlimero de teletono
indicados abajo le proporcionara una direcci6n postal
donde enviarfo asi como ifiS'trucciones adiciona/es. Por
favor observe que e/ comprador sera responsable de
abonar e/ costo de enviar e/ producto THULE y que debe
adjuntar una prueba de compra como una tactura o un
recibo original asi como una descripci6n detallada del
detecto.
