• Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
• Do not recharge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries causes gas and/or
heat emissions that can lead to explosions and/or res.
• Do not use dierent types of batteries or old batteries and new batteries together.
• Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not let the same poles of the batteries touch each other.
• Remove spent batteries promptly. Risk of the battery exploding if it is not properly
replaced or if the device is not used for a long time. Replace the battery with the same or
equivalent model.
• Batteries (or battery pack or battery) mu not be exposed to excessive heat, such as
sunlight, re, etc.
• Do not heat the batteries or throw them into re or water.
• Do not remove batteries with metal tongs or use metal objects such as the tip of a pen or
pliers. Avoid deforming, crushing or puncturing the batteries.
• Do not dismantle the batteries.
• Cover the ends of batteries with tape to prevent explosion and combuion when disposing
of them.
• Please dispose of batteries in an environmentally friendly manner
• Do not dispose of batteries with ordinary household wae.
• When disposing of batteries, please ensure that you comply with local regulations on
battery disposal.
Switching the appliance on/o
• Press the “ON/OFF/FUNCTION” button to turn the unit on.
• To switch o the device, press and hold the “ON/OFF/FUNCTION” button for about 3
seconds.
Setting the clock
The device mu be in andby mode to set the clock.
1. Press the “CLOCK/PLAY/PAUSE” button for about 2 seconds.
2. Use the “NEXT TRACK/FAST FORWARD” and “PREVIOUS TRACK/REWIND” buttons
to select the “12/24 hour” time format.
3. Press the “CLOCK/PLAY/PAUSE” button to conrm the format.
4. The hour digits will art ashing. Use the “NEXT TRACK/FAST FORWARD” and
“PREVIOUS TRACK/REWIND” buttons to set the hour accordingly.
5. Press the “CLOCK/PLAY/PAUSE” button to conrm the hour.
6. The minute digits will art ashing. Use the “NEXT TRACK/FAST FORWARD” and
“PREVIOUS TRACK/REWIND” buttons to set the minutes accordingly.
7. Use the “NEXT TRACK/FAST FORWARD” and “PREVIOUS TRACK/REWIND” buttons
to set the minutes accordingly.
8. Press the “CLOCK/PLAY/PAUSE” button to conrm the minutes.
