ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Use the Volum e + and – buttons to increase the volume up and down. The
unit beeps w hen the maxim um or minim um volume is reached. L8 is the
maximum level and L1 is the m inimum level.
Call screening level from the base w ill be low when the unit is set to its minim um
volum e, that is you w ill not hear w hat caller says w hile caller is recording.
MESSAGE COUNTER
The MESSAGES counter gives you a numeric display of how m any
messages you have.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has a number displayed (not flashing) – No new
messages. Shows total of old m essages.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has a flashing number displayed – There are
new m essages. Show s total of new and old messages.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has bars (- -) – Answ erer is off.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has an “

” flashing on the display – M emory
is full.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has a “

” flashing on the display – Clock is not
set since pow er up.
• MESSAGES COUNTER has a “
