2. Press the m emory button, and the display either shows
EMPTY
or the
num ber of stored records.
3. Press the CID/VOL ( or ) button to scroll to a desired record.
4. When the record shows in the display, press the delete/redial
button. The display show s
DELETE?
5. Press the delete/redial button again to delete the record.
DELETED
show s in the display.
NOTE: If you don t want to change or delete a n umber, press the exit button
or wait for one min ute to exit the review mode automatically.
DIALING A STORED NUMBER WITH THE HANDSET
1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in talk mode).
2. Press the m emory button.
3. Press the CID/VOL ( or ) button to scroll through memory until the
desired num ber displays, or, after the first nam e displays, press the
first character of the stored name to find the mem ory you want to dial.
4. Press the talk/callback button. The number dials autom atically.
CHAIN DIALING FROM MEMORY
Use this feature to make calls that require a sequence of num bers, such as
a calling card num ber used for a frequently called long distance number.
The follow ing exam ple shows how you can store each part of the long
dialing sequence and use chain dialing to make a call through a long
distance service:
