Inserting & Removing the

Magazine From The T/C 22 Classic

Once you have familiarized yourself with the general operation of your T/C 22

LR Classic rifle, practice inserting and removing an

empty magazine into the

rifle. Do this as many times as it takes to make yourself proficient in this oper-

ation.

Procedure for removing the magazine from the T/C 22 LR Classic rifle:

1. Keep the rifle pointed

down range or in a safe

direction.

2. Slide the manual

thumb safety rearward

into the “ON” position.

3. Pull back on the bolt

handle. (with an empty

magazine inserted, the

bolt will remain locked in

the rearward position)

4. Press the magazine

release located at the front

of the trigger guard, mak-

ing sure that one of your

hands is under the maga-

zine to catch it and stop it

from falling to the ground.

(preventing any damage to

the magazine).
