BASIC EQUIPMENT
FOR SHOOTING THE
T/C ENCORE
™
MUZZLELOADER
In order to shoot your Thompson/Center Encore muzzleloader,
the minimum accessories or equipment will be necessary.
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHOOT YOUR MUZ-
ZLELOADING FIREARM UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THIS
MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY AND UNDERSTAND IT
FULLY. FAILURE TO READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUC-
TIONS COULD RESULT INJURY AND/OR DEATH TO THE
SHOOTER OR BYSTANDERS AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND ANY OR ALL OF
THIS MATERIAL, CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPART-
MENT AT THOMPSON/CENTER.
1. Proper eye protection - specified for use with firearms.
2. Proper ear protection - specified for use with firearms..
3. Black Powder or an approved Black Powder substitute such as
Pyrodex, in the appropriate granulation for your particular firearm.
4. A Powder Measure.
5. Projectiles: Appropriate for your firearm.
6. No. 209 Primers
8. Bore cleaning patches.
9. A Jag to hold cleaning patches
10. An appropriate bore cleaning solvent (Like T/C’s No.13).
11. An appropriate oil or rust inhibiting lubricant (Like T/C’s
Natural Lube 1000 Plus Bore Butter.
