The Home Screen:
After completing the tutorial, you can enter the X2 Home Screen. The
X2 has a custom launcher Home Screen so that the background is
transparent and only a few apps are shown for easy accessibility.
The default Home Screen has the following apps:
1.) ThirdEye App Store: This is the official ThirdEye App Store. You
can create an account and download any free or paid app available. If
you are interested in submitting your own app, please refer to the
Developers section of the user guide.
2.) ThirdEye MR Workspace App: The ThirdEye enterprise software
application. For more information refer to the ThirdEye MR
Workspace section of the user guide.
3.) Settings: This is the main Android settings tab. You can choose your
WiFi, Bluetooth settings and other settings features.
4.) Camera: This is the built-in standard RGB Camera feed. More info
about the RGB camera is listed later on in the guide.
5.) UI Tutorial apps: This is the Tutorial app that allows the user to learn
how to use the Gaze/Audio/Gestures. There are 3 UI tutorial apps for
Audio, Gaze & Gestures.
6.) My Applications: This is a folder on the home screen that hosts the
below other system level apps as well as any other app that is newly
downloaded.
Thermal Sensor:
This lets you click on the Thermal Sensor and view the
thermal feed view from the Thermal sensor integrated. If you want more
info on how to develop software using the thermal sense, please refer to the
Developers section.
