2.4 Installing the THINKWARE Connected Dongle (optional)
Refer to the following instructions to properly install the THINKWARE Connected Dongle. Install the
THINKWARE Connected Dongle near the product, taking the Dongle's cable length into account.
•THINKWARE Connected Dongle is sold separately and the feature and services supported may vary
depending on its type and plan.
•To use THINKWARE Connected service, download and install the THINKWARE Connected app on the Apple
App Store or Google Play Store and sign up and log in with THINKWARE Connected account. On the dash
cam screen, access System Settings and set CONNECTED to ON, and then enter the phone number of the
USIM card in the Device registration on the THINKWARE Connected app.
•For more information about using the THINKWARE Connected Dongle service, refer to the Quick Start Guide
supplied with the THINKWARE Connected Dongle.

Remove the film on the back of the THINKWARE
Connected Dongle.

Attach the THINKWARE Connected Dongle’s adhesive
surface to the upper part of the front windshield and
press the adhesive part firmly to secure it.
Before installation, make sure the THINKWARE
Connected Dongle’s cable length is sufficient
and check the cable routing path.

Connect the THINKWARE Connected Dongle to the
product’s GPS connector.
Check the GPS connector location again before
connecting the dongle. If you connect the
THINKWARE Connected Dongle to the DC-IN
power connector, the pins inside the port may
be damaged.

Turn on the ACC or starts the engine to check that the product is powered on. After the product is
powered on, the Status LED and the voice guide are turned on.
