5.2.8 Setting the battery cutoff voltage feature (Off voltage)
YoucansetthevoltagelimittostoprecordingatwhenusingtheLowVoltageOfffeature.Refertothe
following instructions to set the voltage.
1
On the Live view screen, tap the Home button ( )
>
Settings
>
Rec. Settings and then tap the Setting
button next to Off Voltage.
2
Tap + or - to set the voltage in 0.1 V increment. When the battery's voltage reaches the set value,
recording will stop.
For vehicles using a 12 V battery (most passenger vehicles), set the voltage to 11.6 V–12.3 V. For
vehicles using the 24 V battery (like most passenger vehicles), set the voltage to 23.2 V–24.6 V.
If the Off voltage value is too low, the product may consume the battery completely depending on the
conditions like the vehicle type or temperature.
5.2.9 Setting the battery protection feature for wintertime (Wt Bty Protection)
You can set the month(s) during the cold season (November–March) to apply the low voltage protection
level of the vehicle. Refer to the following instructions to set the month(s).
1
On the Live view screen, tap the Home button ( )
>

Select Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, and / or Oct. The new setting is applied to the
system as soon as a change is made.
In winter, you must set the vehicle's low voltage protection level higher than other seasons due to battery
capacity loss.
