Using the mobile viewer

Connecting via hotspot

On your smartphone, open the THINKWARE CLOUD application.

At the bottom of the screen, tap Dash cam connection is required.

Select a dash cam model to connect to your smartphone.

Tap Connect in the hotspot connection area at the bottom of the screen, and tap Yes, it is. when it asks
if it is the first time to connect.

Tap Next on the Wi-Fi activating screen, and press the Wi-Fi ( ) button on the product. And then,
• on an Android smartphone, go to Connections
>
Wi-Fi.
• on an iOS smartphone, go to Settings
>
Wi-Fi.

From the network list, select the Wi-Fi network starting with “Thinkware” and enter “123456789” in
the password field. For security purposes, change the Wi-Fi password after connecting to the Wi-Fi
network.

Return to the THINKWARE CLOUD application, enter your Mobile or Personal Hotspot SSID and
password, and tap Input Complete.

• On an Android smartphone, go to Connections
>
Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
>
Mobile Hotspot and
tap ON to turn on the Mobile Hotspot.
• On an iOS smartphone, go to Settings
>
Personal Hotspot and turn on the Personal Hotspot.

Wait until the product is connected to your smartphone. You will hear the product say, “Connected
to the Internet.” when the product is connected to your smartphone. You can also see Connected
via hotspot – dash cam model name at the bottom of the main screen on the THINKWARE CLOUD
application.
