Defrosting

Defrosting :

The freeze plates of t he refrigerate operate at below freezing temperature and will naturally form frost from

humidity. which is always present in the air. T he humidity inside the refrigerato r inc r eases:

- with highe r outside temperatu r e and humidity.

- with the storage of non-sealed f r esh foods or warm foods .

- with the amount of time that the door(s) are open.

- with any ai r leakage into the r ef r igerator.

It is normal fo r frost to collect inside the refrigerator. Excess f r ost dec r eases the cooling pe rf orman ce of the

r ef r igerator. Defrost the Refrigerator as necessary:

- Remove all food from the ref r igerato r.

- Turn the refrigerato r OFF.

- Put dry towels (etc.) inside the refrigerator to help r emove the excess water.

High temperatures can cause the inside surfaces of the refrigerator to warp or melt.Do not use

pans of HOT water,a hair dryer, or any other high temperature devices to defrost the

refrigerator.Do not use any hard or sharp object to remove frost. Damage to interior of

refrigerator can occur.

- To increase the speed of def r osting, put pans of WARM wate r in the r e fr igerator.

- Remove the wet towels (etc.) and dry the interio r.

- Start up the refrige r ator.

- Allow the r ef r igerato r to cool down.

- Retu r n all food to the r ef r igerator.

Cleaning:

A good time to clean the r ef r igerato r is just afte r you def r ost it.

Clean the inside of the ref r ige r ator as often as necessa r y to avoid food odo u rs:

- Remove all food from the r e fr igerator.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or scouring pads because they can dama ge the

interior of the refrigerator .

- W a sh the interior with a mild cleaner or a so lu tion of liquid dish dete r gent and warm water.

- Rinse with a solution of baking soda and clean water.

- Dry with a clean cloth.

- Put all food back into the refrigerato r.

To r emove and clean the d r ip tray :

- Make su r e that the d r ip tray is empty of wate r ．

-Pull the d r ain tube plug out from the inside of the drip tray and out of the d r ain hose .
