The device is designed for pro‐ fessional use only and is not suitable for use in households. This device is meant for indoor use only. Use the device only as described in this user manual. Any other use or use under other oper‐ ating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage.
Safety instructions Safety DANGER! Danger for children Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Features 3 Features the t.bone Speech 100 is a digital conference system. It consists of the control centre the t.bone Speech 100 M (item no. 438815), the chairman's unit the t.bone Speech 100 C (item no. 438819), and the delegate station the t.bone Speech 100 D (item no. 438820). For free down‐ load at www.thomann.de you will receive a software for the conference system, with which the conference can be comfortably controlled from the PC.
Installation 4 Installation Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively. Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for all connections.
Installation Connection options Up to 16 call stations can be connected in 2 lines to the control centre.
Installation 1. Connect the [IN] interface of the first call station (33) to the [CONFERENCE INPUT] inter‐ face of the control centre. To do so, use a LAN cable. 2. Connect the [LINK] interface of the first call station (32) to the [IN] interface of a further call station. To do so, use a LAN cable. 3. Repeat step 2 until you have connected the desired number of call stations to a line. You can connect a maximum of 2 lines, each with 16 call stations, to the control centre.

Operating 6 Operating Participating in a discussion Use the microphone button to activate or deactivate the microphone or to claim right to speak. In the discussion modes for 3, 6 or 9 microphones, the number of simultaneously enabled microphones is limited. As long as the maximum number of approved speakers has not yet been reached: Press the microphone button. ð The display shows ‘MIC ON’ . The LED light ring on the microphone lights up red. You can speak right away.
Operating 3. Now press the microphone button again. ð Now you can speak. For presidential station only: Priority mode With [PRIORITY] (only available to presidential station) you mute all delegate stations simulta‐ neously and assign the right to speak to the presidential station. 1. Press [PRIORITY]. ð The display shows ‘P!’ . The LED light ring on the microphone lights up red. You can speak right away. 2. Press [PRIORITY] again. ð The presidential station is muted again.
Operating 2. The display shows ‘VOTING Are you sure to…?’ Confirm your decision again with [Agree], [Drop] or [Disagree]. ð The display confirms your decision. As soon as the vote is closed in the control centre, you will see the voting result for about 20 seconds.
