Prior to Use:
.
Locate the battery box on the underside of the toy.
.
Pull the plastic tab outward to activate the toy’s play mode.
.
Make sure the “sound on/off” switch is set to the “on” position.
Play Features:
1. Activate 1 of 3 siren sounds by pressing down on siren tower as shown.
Replacing Batteries:
1. Locate battery box on underside of Deluxe Fire Station.
2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver (not included), remove battery box
cover and set aside.
3. Replace the old batteries with two (2) new 1.5V AA batteries.
4. Replace battery box cover and tighten screw until snug.
Troubleshooting:

If lights activate but without any corresponding sound, check to make
sure the “sound on/off” switch on bottom of toy is set to the “on”
position.

If lights and/or sounds begin to fade or do not work, replace batteries
as directed above.

Should a door come loose from toy, hold down on its door button
while snapping the door back onto its hinge.
2. Activate 1 of 3 roadway sounds by pressing down on the “keystone”
button above either set of doors as shown.
3. To deactivate the toy’s sound features, locate the “sound on/off” switch
on the bottom of the toy. When set to the “off” position, the toy’s lights
will function but without the corresponding sounds.
4. To “fill” the fire trains water tank, first make sure the train car’s tank is
flipped to the “empty” (clear) position as shown.
Next, roll the train car under the water tower with its “empty” (clear) tank
facing the back of toy. Indents in the track will help you align the train car
correctly under the stations water tower.
Lastly, push down on the stations water tower (as shown above), and
then release. The fire trains water tank below should now have flipped
over and appear blue and “full.
Pressing either button will also open the corresponding doors and
release the vehicle from the station (if already inside).
TIP: Should a door come loose from toy, hold down on its “keystone”
button while snapping the door back onto its hinge.

Battery Tips:

properly.
• Supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are
to be used.
