Insert key and turn it one quarter turn in the clockwise direction or turn dials to your
preset combination and press inward. The lock mechanism will “pop out”. If there is pressure
on the locking pin, a slight adjustment of the two halves may be necessary to free the pin.
Return key one quarter turn counter clockwise and remove. (If keyed type) Secure your keys
in a safe location.
Separate the two halves of the Cargo Door Lock by sliding them away from each other and
remove from the door. (Figure 1)
Once removed, re-insert the small tube into the larger tube with the lock mechanism and
holes aligned.
Depress the locking mechanism and store your Cargo Door Lock in a location to allow for safe
equipment operation.
Determine an easy access location to install the Cargo Door Lock. Installation can be in a
manner so you can slide it up the locking bars to unlock.
Separate the two halves of the Cargo Door Lock aligning them so the lock mechanism and holes
are both facing downward.
Install one half of the Cargo Door Lock on each doors’ locking bar.(Figure 1)
Slide the two halves together by inserting the smaller tube into the larger tube.(Figure 2)
Secure the Cargo Door Lock as tight as possible on both doors' locking arms and depress the
locking button with key removed or turn dials.
NOTE: Minor adjustments may be made to align the locking pin and holes.
