POSITIONING THE OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE
TRANSMITTER
The sensor is supplied with a holder
that may be attached to a wall with the
two screws supplied.
The transmitter can also be position on
a flat surface by securing the stand to
the bottom to the transmitter.
To wall mount:
1. Mark the wall using a pen
through the holes in the holder
to obtain the exact drilling
position.
2. Drill holes in the wall at the
points marked.
3. Screw holder onto wall.
Note:
Before permanently fixing the transmitter wall base, place
all units in the desired locations to check that the outdoor
readings are receivable. In event that the signal is not
received, relocate the transmitter(s) or move them slightly
as this may help the signal reception.
There is also double sided tape included with the wall
mount. On smooth surfaces this can be used instead of
drilling holes. The mounting surface can, however, affect
the transmission range. If for example the unit is attached
to a piece of metal, it may then either reduce or increase
the transmitting range. For this reason, we recommend
not placing the unit on any metal surfaces or in any
