12.1 Battery replacement
•
Replace the batteries when the display becomes weak.
• Open the battery compartment and insert four new batteries 1,5 V AA.
• Make sure the polarities are correct.
• Close the battery compartment again.
13. Troubleshooting
Problems Solution
No indication on the device ➜ Ensure battery polarities are correct
➜ Change batteries
No DCF reception ➜ Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON
➜ Press SET button
➜ Choose another place for the device
➜ Manual time setting
➜ Wait for attempted reception during the night
➜ Check if there is any source of interference
➜ Restart the instrument as per the manual
Sensor key does not respond ➜ Cover the sensor key briefly for about 4 seconds and uncover it again. Do not
leave your finger on the sensor key.
➜ Make sure that the whole sensor key is covered by your finger
➜ The room has to be well illuminated.
Frequent unintended ➜ Choose another place for your product (See point 10)

Incorrect indication ➜ Change batteries
➜ Use a pin to press the RESET button
If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.
14. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be recycled and reused.
Never dispose empty batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste.
As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail store or to appropriate collection sites
depending to national or local regulations in order to protect the environment.
