No DCF reception ➜ Press and hold the DOWN button for
2 seconds to activate the reception
➜ Choose another place for your product
➜ Set the clock manually
➜ Wait for an attempt reception during the
night
➜ Check if there is any source of inter-
ference
➜ Restart the instrument according to the
manual
Incorrect indication ➜ Restart the instrument according to the
manual
➜ RESET: Press and hold the UP and
DOWN button at the same time for
3 seconds
➜ Battery operation: Change the batteries
If your device fails to work despite these measures, contact the retailer
where you purchased the product.
11. Waste disposal
This product and its packaging have been manufactured using high-grade
materials and components which can be recycled and reused. This redu-
ces waste and protects the environment.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner using the
collection systems that have been set up.
• Remove the batteries and pull out the plug of the socket if the device
will not be used for an extended period of time.
• Store the device in a dry place.
9.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries 3 x 1,5 V AAA when the illumination without the
use of the power adapter gets weak.
• When the CR2032 battery is used up, see “Reception of the DCF fre-
quency signal”. If necessary, change the battery:
• Open the battery compartment of the alarm clock.
• Open the inner battery compartment using a screwdriver.
• Insert a new battery (CR2032) with the + pole up.
• Screw the battery cover back on carefully.
• Close the battery compartment again.
10. Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No display ➜ Wait for the DCF signal reception
Operation with power adapter:
➜ Connect the device to the power adapter
➜ Check the power adapter
Battery operation:
➜ Ensure the batteries' polarity are correct
➜ Change the batteries
➜ Activate the display light briefly
(by touching or making a loud sound)
