No transmitter reception ➜ No transmitter installed
Display “---” ➜ Start the manual search for the transmitter: Press the DOWN button on the base station for 2 seconds
➜ Check the transmitter batteries (do not use rechargeable batteries!)
➜ Restart the transmitter and the base station according to the manual
➜ Choose another place for the transmitter and/or the base station
➜ Reduce the distance between the transmitter and the base station
➜ Check if there is any source of interference
No charging function ➜ Connect the device to the power adapter
➜ Check the USB port connection
Incorrect indication ➜ Change the batteries
Indication: LL.L / HH.H ➜ Outside measuring range
If your device fails to work despite these measures, contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
9. Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No display Operation with power adapter:
➜ Connect the device to the power adapter
➜ Check the power adapter
Battery operation:
➜ Ensure the batteries' polarity are correct
➜ Change the batteries
➜ Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT sensor button to activate the display light
No DCF reception ➜ Press and hold the UP button for 2 seconds to activate the reception
➜ Choose another place for your product
➜ Set the clock manually
➜ Wait for an attempt reception during the night
➜ Check if there is any source of interference
➜ Restart the instrument according to the manual
