• Now press SET button again. ALARM appears and °C is flashing. Press
▲ or ▼ buttons to select the parameter for the alarm: °C = tempera-
ture, % = humidity, °C Td = dew point, °C Tw = wet bulb tempera-
ture. Press SET button to confirm the alarm type.
• Press MODE button three times.  ALARM appears (when the low
alarm limit is activated). Press SET button and the value is flashing.
Press
▲ button to advance and ▼ to decrease the lower alarm value.
Hold the buttons for a fast run. Press MODE button again.
 ALARM
appears (when the high alarm limit is activated). Set the high alarm
limit in the same manner.
• Press Mode button to get out of alarm value set mode. Now the
product is ready to operate with alarm feature.
• When the measured temperature meets the set values, the alarm
light on the top of the instrument will flash and the buzzer will
sound for one minute. To stop the buzzer, press any button. The LED
will still be on since the alarm triggering condition did not change.
• If the high alarm value is lower than the low alarm value then the
alarm is activated when the measured values are within the two
adjusted alarm values.
Positioning and fixing
A circular opening is provided on the rear-side of the unit for hanging
on the wall. To place the unit in the standing position use the foot sup-
plied with the unit.
Since the humidity level within rooms can vary greatly according to the
location, mount the unit so that it will monitor the conditions in a loca-
tion likely to be subject to the most problems.
Care and maintenance
•
Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring
agents. Protect from moisture.
• Remove the batteries, if you do not use the product for a lengthy
period.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
Battery replacement
•
Remove the stand. Open the battery compartment and insert two
new batteries 1.5 V AAA. Ensure batteries polarities are correct. Close
the battery compartment.

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier
from whom you purchased it.

to take them to your retail store or to appropriate collec-
tion sites depending to national or local regulations in
order to protect the environment.

This instrument is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
Please do not dispose of this instrument in household
waste. The user is obligated to take end-of-life devices to a
designated collection point for the disposal of electrical
and electronic equipment, in order to ensure environmen-
tally-compatible disposal.
