In order to use the touch screen features, a 4-wire resistive touch screen must
be connected to J3 or J1 of the TSC2101EVM.
If a speaker is connected to J9 (the loud speaker connection terminal), a ding
sound is heard when the USB cable from the PC is plugged into J10 of the
EVM. Additional dings are heard when launching the software.
The EVM is set to default with the side-tone function enabled. Therefore, when
powered up, signals to the onboard, mini-microphone (MX1) are heard
through the speaker connected to J9.
