TheRTpincontrolstheSYNCpinfunctions.Ifthe
RTpinisfloatingorgrounded,SYNCisanoutput.If
TheTPS54550hasaninternaloscillatorthat
theswitchingfrequencyhasbeenprogrammedusing
operatesattwicethePWMswitchingfrequency.The
aresistorfromRTtoAGND,thenSYNCfunctionsas
internaloscillatorfrequencyiscontrolledbytheRT
aninput.
pin.GroundingtheRTpinsetsthePWMswitching
frequencytoadefaultfrequencyof250kHz.FloatingTheinternalvoltagerampchargingcurrentincreases
theRTpinsetsthePWMswitchingfrequencytolinearlywiththesetfrequencyandkeepsthefeed
