Test Setup and Results
4.6 Frequency
The TPS54428 uses Eco-mode to increase the efficiency at light load. This means that the frequency is
getting lower for lower load conditions. Figure 5 shows the switching frequency of the part across the load
range.

4.7 Load Transient Response
The TPS54428EVM-052 response to load transient steps are shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7. Total
peak-to-peak voltage variation is as shown.
