As stated in section 3.1.3, the maximum transient load is 500 mA during normal operation.
Figure 9 shows the test circuit used to determine the voltage droop during a 500-mA transient.
The transient caused only a 50-mV output voltage droop. The droop is mainly due to the
increased resistive losses (connectors, PCB, TPS2014) from the increased output current and
not to the load transient.
The following three tests were implemented to produce the most severe transient and the
highest voltage droop:
Hot-insertion transient test for the non-ganged configuration
Hot-insertion transient test for the ganged configuration
Hot-insertion transient test for the ganged configuration with ferrite beads
