1 Hardware Overview
The PPCMB provides control signals and audio signals to the DUT. The PPC sends the control signals to
the TAS1020B via USB human-interface device (HID) protocol. The TAS1020B converts to I
2
C™ and
sends to the appropriate I
2
C address. The audio signals are provided through USB audio, SPDIF, or
analog signals. The aforementioned signals are converted to I2S – see Figure 2.
