A red light emitting diode (LED) was used to generate
Figure 84 .
Gain of the avalanche photodiode (APD) is adjusted
by changing the voltage across the APD. Gain starts
to increase when reverse voltage is increased beyond
130V for this APD diode. Figure 85 shows this
structure.
