Timer_B3
Timer_B3 is a 16-bit timer/counter with three capture/compare registers. Timer_B3 can support multiple
capture/compares, PWM outputs, and interval timing. Timer_B3 also has extensive interrupt capabilities.
Interrupts may be generated from the counter on overflow conditions and from each of the capture/compare
registers.

Comparator_A
The primary function of the comparator_A module is to support precision slope analog-to-digital conversions,
battery-voltage supervision, and monitoring of external analog signals.
SD16_A
The SD16_A module integrates three (MSP430F471x3), six (MSP430F471x6) or seven (MSP430F471x7)
independent 16-bit s igma-delta A/D converters. Each channel is designed with a fully differential analog input
pair and programmable gain amplifier input stage. In addition to external analog inputs, an internal V
CC
sense
and temperature sensor are also available.
LCD driver with regulated charge pump
The LCD_A driver generates the segment and common signals r equired to drive an LCD display. The LCD_A
controller has dedicated data memory to hold segment drive information. Common and segment signals are
generated as defined by the mode. Static, 2-MUX, 3-MUX, and 4-MUX LCDs are supported by this peripheral.
The module can provide a LCD voltage independent of the supply voltage via an integrated charge pump.
Furthermore it is possible to control the level of the LCD v oltage and thus contrast in software.
