PIN DESCRIPTIONS
Pin # Pin Symbol Pin Description
The inverting input to the protection comparator, connected to the external MOSFET source pin and

the load.
The non-inverting input to the protection comparator, and a current sink for the threshold resistor to

set the allowed voltage drop across the external MOSFET.

4 Output The gate drive connection. Charges, and discharges, the MOSFET gate.

operating range has a minimum value of 7V, and a maximum

A resistor on this pin to ground sets the current through the threshold resistor, which sets the

A capacitor on this pin to ground will provide a delay time between when the protection comparator

These devices have limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam
during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
