DESCRIPTION
The LM4853 is an audio power amplifier capable of

Mono 1.5W BTL or Stereo 300mW Output
delivering 1.5W (typ) of continuous average power
Headphone Sense
into a mono 4 bridged-tied load (BTL) with 1%
“Click and Pop” Suppression Circuitry
THD+N or 95mW per channel of continuous average
power into stereo 32 single-ended (SE) loads with
No Bootstrap Capacitors Required
1% THD+N, using a 5V power supply.
Thermal Shutdown Protection
The LM4853 can automatically switch between mono
