CONNECTING MULTIPLE DEVICES
Multiple devices of DAC7678 family can be
connected on the same bus. Using the address pin,
the DAC7678 can be set to one of three different I
2
C
addresses for the TSSOP package and one of eight
addresses for the QFN package. An example
showing three DAC7678 devices in TSSOP package
is shown if Figure 98. Note that only one set of pull-
up resistors is needed per bus. The pull-up resistor
values may need to be lowered slightly to
compensate for the additional bus capacitance due to
multiple devices and increased bus length.
