7.2. Regulatory configuration
The regulatory can be set to a different regulation through the country variable in the U-Boot
environment if the regulator allows it. This is true for ETSI regulation, but not for FCC.
The operator can choose a different regulation trough the commands below. Note that <alpha2> is
either one of the countries defined in section 7.1. The configuration takes effect after a reboot only.
The regulation will automatically take place.
$ fw_printenv country # View the country variable.
country=<alpha2>
$ fw_setenv country <alpha2> # Set the country variable.
$ fw_printenv country
country=<alpha2>
$ reboot # Store configuration.
Please note that an ETSI device can be set to an FCC country, for example US. After a reboot the
device regulation can only be changed by Prodrive Technologies.
7.3. List of supported antennas

permissible gain indicated. Antenna types not included in this list that have a gain greater than the
maximum gain indicated for any type listed are strictly prohibited for use with this device.
