The AMC1210MB-EVM can be connected to a personal or lab computer using an available USB port. This
manual shows how to use the AMC1210MB-EVM with the PC software available for download from the
product folder at www.ti.com.
This manual covers the operation of the AMC1210MB-EVM. Throughout this document, the abbreviation
EVM and the term evaluation module are synonymous with the AMC1210MB-EVM.
2 Hardware Interfaces
2.1 Modulator Interface Pinout
The AMC1210MB-EVM has two, male-type, nine-pin DSUB connectors at J3 and J4 for connecting TI ΔΣ
modulator EVMs. Each connector supports single-channel and dual-channel ΔΣ modulator evaluation
fixtures. The AMC1210MB-EVM supports using one dual-channel modulator or two single-channel
modulator EVMs configured to use different channels of the DB9 connectors. Table 1 summarizes the
AMC1210MB-EVM modulator interface pinout.
