5.11.2 UART IrDA Interface
The IrDA module operates in three different modes:
• Slow infrared (SIR) (≤ 115.2 Kbps)
• Medium infrared (MIR) (0.576 Mbps and 1.152 Mbps)
• Fast infrared (FIR) (4 Mbps).
Figure 5-95 illustrates the UART IrDA pulse parameters. Table 5-89 and Table 5-90 list the signaling rates
and pulse durations for UART IrDA receive and transmit modes.
