REGISTER MAP: ADS8638
The ADS8638 internal registers are mapped in two pages: page 0 and page 1. Page 0 is selected by default at
power-up and after reset. Any register read/write operation performed while on page 0 addresses the page 0
registers. Writing 01h to register address 7Fh selects page 1 for any further register operations.
Page 0 registers are used to select the channel sequencing mode, program the configuration registers, and read
the alarm flags. Page 1 resisters are used to program alarm thresholds for each channel and for the temperature
sensor. Table 11 details page 0 and Table 12 details page 1.
