2. The ADS7953EVM-PDK plug-in window has a status area at the top of the screen. When the plug-in is

first loaded, the plug-in searches for the board. The user will see a series of messages in the status

area indicating this action.

3. If the operating system drivers have not been loaded, Windows will display the Windows Install New

Driver Wizard sequence (illustrated in Figure 13 through Figure 17). Accept the default settings.

• NOTE: During the driver installation, a message may appear indicating the firmware load has

TIMED OUT. Click OK and continue driver installation. The plug-in will attempt to download the

firmware again once the driver installation completes.
