• Access the web interface locally and click the tile for the data connection on the
dashboard, see To start and stop data connections on page 47, or
• Send an AT command to the terminal. See To configure the connected equipment for

PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet)
Overview
You can establish a PPPoE connection to the BGAN network using the EXPLORER 323 system.
Use PPPoE if you want to control your connection independently of the web interface.
Possible applications are:
• Connect an EXPLORER Mobile Gateway, see PTT connection example on page 15
• Connect a router
• Connect broadcast equipment, optionally through a PC
• Establish a Picocell for the use of cell phones
