Clearing and correcting
Keys
1. - clears characters and error messages.
Press - once to clear an uncompleted
entry; press it again to clear the display.
You can scroll up and use - to clear
entries in history. - backs up one screen
in applications.
2. % f lets you insert a character at the
cursor.
3. J deletes the character at the cursor.
Then, each time you press J, it deletes 1
character to the left of the cursor.
Notes
• The examples on the transparency
masters assume all default settings.
• Pressing - does not affect the
memory, statistical registers, angle
units, or numeric notation.
