Notes
The examples on the transparency masters
assume all default settings.
Before starting a trigonometric calculation,
be sure to select the appropriate angle mode
setting (DEG, RAD, or GRAD—See Chapter
17, Angle settings and conversions). The
calculator interprets values according to the
current angle-unit mode setting.
In MathPrint™ mode and the corresponding
mode setting of DEG or RAD, evaluating
trigonometric functions at multiples of 15
degree or pi/12 increments yields exact
radical output in many cases.
E closes the argument of a trigonometric
function.
