When connecting the cable clamps to the battery terminal, pay attention

to the polarity.

A LED on the cable turning on indicates presence of power supply.

2.2.2 Cigar Lighter Cable

This cable allows to connect to the cigar lighter socket to supply TXT. The

location of the port on the vehicles varies depending on the make and model.

The turning on of a LED on the cable indicates the presence of power supply.

Some electronic systems, during the autodiagnosis phase which can be

carried out using TXT, might require to operate on the starting key. Please

make sure that the cigar lighter socket power supply is independent with

respect of the position of the starting key.
