OPTICAL
You can connect the optical digital sound output of a
source device to the jack 8. You will need an optical
cable with a TOSLINK plug for this. Your source requires
either an optical 3.5 mm jack or a TOSLINK jack, too.
Coaxial 1 and Coaxial 2
You can connect the coaxial digital audio outputs of up to
two source devices to the jacks 9. You will need a coaxial
cable with RCA plugs for this.
AUX 1, 2 and 3
You can connect source devices with analogue audio
signals to the jacks 11 and 12. The jack 11 (AUX 1) is a
3.5-mm jack for connecting e.g. a MP3 player. The jacks
12 (AUX 2 and 3) are RCA jacks for connecting e.g. a
cassette or audio tape player.
If you want to connect a record player, which does not
have a line output, use PhonoStation 1 for correct pre-
amplification.
