Data loggers and data monitoring
Like people, most objects in museums and archives have
a certain "comfort temperature". In contrast to people
however, paintings, sculptures or antique books cannot
adapt. They are constantly reliant on the right ambient
temperature. Whether in exhibitions or storage: The indoor
climate and the air quality are the most significant factors
in ensuring the preservation of valuable exhibits or archived
material.
Due to the high sensitivity of the freight, the transporta-
tion of art objects also presents a great challenge. When
it comes to art, the unique nature of the item is always a
factor to consider, not to mention the physical depreciation
that needs to be prevented: Nobody wants to be responsi-
ble for damaging a unique and irreplaceable item.
What are your measurement tasks? Do you need to monitor
only one measuring point or a hundred of them? Do you
read out the measurement values on site, or do you require
access to your data at all times and from anywhere in the
world?
Testo offers the right solution for each of your measurement
tasks. You create ideal environmental conditions for your art
objects, and protect them from mould, corrosion or defor-
mation – and therefore from a loss of value.
