5.4. Configure instrument
✓ The instrument is connected with testo Comfort Software Basic
5 and is displayed in the status bar, see Connect instrument
page 9.
✓ Instrument is not in Rec-mode. If necessary click on [Stop
measurement].
1. Choose Configure Operation settings via the start page or the
menu Instrument | Configure instrument | Operation
settings.
2. Make the desired settings (instrument specific) for
• Start criteria
◦ Start time: The instrument starts at the pre-set time.
◦ Start button on instrument: Hold [Go] depressed for longer
than 3 seconds.
◦ Software start: Click on [Start measurement].
• Stop criteria
◦ Memory full: The instrument stops the measurement as
soon as the memory is full.
