This
control
is
used
tosetthe
desiredresponsetoground
minerals
when
the
detector
is
used
in
the
ALL
METAL
mode.
It
doesn't
have
enough
range
to
compensate
forwet
salt
beaches,
so is
not
usable
when
searching
them.
The
detectors
response
to
ground
m
ineral
s should
be
set
so that
as
the
search
coil
approaches
normal gound
the detectors
tlueshold
goe
s
slightly
louder.
This
will
keep
the
detector
from
reading
holes
in
the
ground
when
it is
used
in
the motion
discriminate
mode.
