Changing the system settings
Menu language•
Select the OSD (On Screen Display) language here.
Text encoding•
Select the text encoding options (subtitle display) here.
System update•
You can update your player’s rmware via USB memory stick. For current rmware
les, visit http://www.terratec.net
1) Copy the “install.img” le to the root directory of a USB stick.
2) Select the option: system reinstallation and press OK to conrm.
Format HDD•
This menu item calls up the formatting program to reformat your internal hard drive
(optional). If you reformat, all data on the hard drive are deleted and cannot be
recovered!
Power button of the remote control •
This option decides whether your device goes into soft standby when you switch it
off using the remote control or goes completely into standby. In soft standby, aux-
iliary services such as a UPnP server can keep working and provide media in the
network, for example.
Factory settings•
Select this item to reset all settings you have entered and restore the factory de-
faults of the device.
