Advanced
Settings
Select profile Switch between the various location profiles, for example if you want to register your
NOXON on different networks.
Profile management With the profile management activated, another profile is selected automatically any
time the connection is lost. This also lets you switch locations easily without setting
up the same profile each time. Enable or disable profile management here. Select
the profile you intend to use under “Profile Selection”.
Key management If more than one network key has been stored, the key management will attempt to
use them to maintain contact to the AP / network access point.
Edit device name Assign a name to the device here.
LCD brightness Controls the brightness of the LCD. The following options are available:
Low – The “evening setting”: The display is set to continuous low brightness.
High – The display is set to continuous full brightness.
Automatic – The software determines the brightness based on how the NOXON is
being used. In this case, the display is set to high brightness, but is dimmed if there
is no activity for a certain amount of time or if the shutoff timer is in use.
FM sensitivity The lower you set the gain, the fewer stations the automatic station scan will find,
but the ones it does find are those with clearer reception.
The appearance of the menu for synchronizing time settings, “Config. Date/Time
” (see above) may vary depending
on the device you have and how your device is equipped. The NOXON2radio, the NOXON2audio's “big brother”, is
fitted with its own integral quartz clock, while the NOXON2audio is not. The latter keeps its clock correct with regular
Internet updates. If the there is no Internet connection for some time, the NOXON2audio disables its clock function until
the connection to the Internet is reestablished.
