This option is available for devices with version numbers ending in 5910 and higher.)
The procedure for updating the NOXON firmware outlined here is an alternative to that in described in
3a. It is particularly suited to users of Macintosh-based computers.

puters with the Safari browser. We recommend using either Camino or Firefox for the update. Both
are available as a free download at www.mozilla.org.

3.1 Determine the "IP address" of
your NOXON (the address that iden-
tifies your device in the network)
Open your NOXON's configuration menu using the button and select
"Device status". From there, use the down arrow to search for the entry
"Software address / IP". Refer also to 1.
3.2 Call up the NOXON's own Web
interface
On a PC in the same network, open an Internet browser (such as Internet
Explorer) and enter the IP address you determined in 3.1 into the address
bar. You should now see the NOXON's Web interface.
3.3 Start firmware update
Click "Update firmware". Your device switches to update mode within a
few seconds.
3.4 Choose firmware
Click "Browse" and select the appropriate firmware for your device.
If you did not change the path in Step 2.4, you will find all the files you
need for the update at C:\TerraTec\NOXON.
3.5 Start the update
Click "Upload" to start the firmware check.
3.6 Confirm the selection Once the firmware has been successfully checked by the device, a pop-
up dialog asks you to confirm. This begins the actual transfer, which can
take up to 3 minutes.
3.7 Done! After a successful update, the device restarts automatically.
